Baghdad (news) .. discussed the Chairman of the Board of Deputies of Osama Nujaifi with a delegation from the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID, headed by Paul Randolph ways to improve and speed up the legislative mechanisms within the House of Representatives so as to enhance the speed of completion of outstanding laws.
A statement from the House of Representatives received Agency (news) on Sunday: that Nujaifi stressed during Allqaaly the importance of strengthening the independence of the Council in all programs, and the mechanism of the relationship with the executive, stressing that the Iraqi constitution has proved this point and the Chamber of Deputies is the supreme legislative authority in the country.
The statement added that: has been touched on ways to improve and speed up the legislative mechanisms within the Council so as to enhance the speed of completion of the laws in arrears, without prejudice to the aspects of the formal and legal aspects of legislation, and benefit from the experiences other parliamentary way that suits the situation in Iraq.
