A planned visit by UN High Commissioner for Refugees to Iraq at the end of this month

Detect the Office of the United Nations to help Iraq (UNAMI) that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Ontonoguterres, there will be a visit to Iraq the end of the month of January.

According to a statement issued by the office said Guterres will meet during his fourth visit to Iraq since 2007 and so far with high-level officials in the new Iraqi government, and will at the same time assessing the situation of internally displaced persons, refugees and returnees throughout the country.

Iraq protect its funds abroad; DFI plan after next June

The Government announced the cut plan prepared by the court for the protection of Iraqi funds abroad after the end of the international immunity to the money end of next June, «stages of the task».

This plan includes, according to reported sources for »morning» from Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, while attending the parliament session yesterday, the preparation of a team of experts and lawyers with long experience in such cases to thwart any claims illegally acting against these funds, in addition to the agreement with the Council UN Security to move quickly on any similar trends.

A member of the National Alliance for the Islamic Supreme Council collected “The visit of Prime Minister of Kuwait to Iraq at this time comes a positive step and welcomed by Iraq, particularly as we hope openness to the Arab world and regional levels, because Iraq is part of an important and essential in the Middle East.”

He  in a statement singled out by the reporter (news agency, media / INA) that “so visit positive indicators, particularly as we hear about scuffles in the sea side of the Kuwaiti and Iraqi as well as that Iraq is now in the process of exit from the provisions of Chapter VII.”

500 thousand Iraqis living around Baghdad in the garbage

Agencies – a new report revealed the growing phenomenon of squatter settlements in various parts of Baghdad, with the deterioration of living conditions where they depend on garbage as the main source of living, while besieged by diseases and epidemics.

In contrast, authorized officials in local government that they do not have alternatives to redeem them from their crisis, and justify resorting to widespread unemployment garbage!

BAGHDAD, Jan 14 (KUNA) — Kuwait and Iraq will base the new page of their relations on aspects of mutual respect and recognition, President of the Governing Council of Iraq Dr. Ayad Allawi said here on Friday.

Speaking to the visiting Kuwaiti media delegation, Allawi expressed sorrow to what the former Iraqi regime has inflicted on the Kuwaiti people during the invasion, affirming that Iraqis would work on measures to bolster ties of cooperation and understanding.

Baghdad (news) .. said the official speaking on behalf of the Iraqi List, Maysoon al that next week the House of Representatives will vote on the Law of the National Council for the strategic policies.

Said Damluji said in a statement (of the Agency news) on Thursday: The differences between the Iraqi List and the National Coalition on the draft Law of the National Council of the policies, strategy, resolved, and that next week will vote in the House of Representatives in one of its law of the Council for discussion and voting on it, noting that the deadline for meeting discuss the law will be determined by the Council presidency.

Minister of Finance: reduction of social benefits for the three presidencies making 1.2 billion dinars

The Ministry of Finance Budget Department for Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi, through the powers delegated to the Ministry to issue instructions to allow the exchange rate of one twelfth of the actual expenditure for the year 2010.

In the area of financial allocations to the governing bodies of the three has indicated paragraph four reduction of approved allocations over the expense of social benefits for the three presidencies making 1.2 billion dinars instead of four billion dinars.
