Alleviate the poverty rate to 16% by 2014

The Central Agency for Statistics of the Ministry of Planning said that this year will see the activation of the poverty alleviation strategy, which aims to alleviate the poverty rate to 16% in 2014.

The spokesman said the official on behalf of a census in a press statement that “the strategy of alleviating poverty will do this year,” he said, adding that “the steps the scientific strategy of poverty are included within the five-year plan for the years 2010-2014, as well as linking them with the general budget for the biennium 2010-2011, as The strategy was working out the beginning of 2010. “

Sharm El Sheikh January 17 (Rn) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and agency Ruz Nuri Shaways on Monday, with the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Egyptian ways of increasing trade exchange between the two countries as well as arrangements for the latter’s visit expected visit to Iraq and the Kurdistan region to open the commercial attache at the consulate Egyptian Arbil mid-February next year.

KRG and Baghdad locked over budget bill and oil exports

Kurdish leaders in Baghdad are locked with the Iraqi authorities over 2011 budget bill which contains a provision that links the region’s share in the budget to its oil exports.

According to the budget bill passage, the Kurdish region has to export 150,000 bdp to maintain its 17% of the general budget. KRG says the figure exceeds the capacity of the region which is currently 100,000 bdp and pushes for eliminating or reducing the figure to 100,000 bpd.
