London Brent crude futures above the level of $ 114 a barrel today
To reach its highest level in 28 months driven by growing concerns over the unrest in Libya to other top producers in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia.
The last time exceeded the Brent front-month contracts for $ 115 a barrel during the trading session at the beginning of September 2008.
Brent crude was about ten percent during the past four days as it led the uprising in Libya to stop more than a quarter of the country’s production.
