Met with h.e. President Jalal Talabani in Bayan Palace residence in Kuwait’s Amiri, Saturday evening, His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed, who had come to bid farewell, Majesty. At the beginning of the meeting welcomed President Talabani Prince warmly, highlighting promising developments in Iraq in particular economic plans and development projects as well as the importance of a balance sheet and provide jobs and economic recovery in the country side.

And during the meeting emphasized the need to expedite examination of the outstanding issues to reach appropriate solutions, especially favourable opportunities for direct efforts towards the end of files pending between the two brotherly countries.

Nuri al-Maliki called an emergency cabinet meeting after anti-government protests across Iraq left 13 people dead.Baghdad (CNN) — Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki gave government ministers 100 days to deliver results and eliminate corruption or be fired, the government announced after an emergency cabinet meeting Sunday.

The announcement follows weeks of demonstrations across the country by protesters angry about unemployment, poor basic services, corruption and a lack of freedom. (more…)

Demonstrations process legitimate and guaranteed by the Constitution of Iraq. Yes the government has failed in addressing the bottlenecks in the economy, fight poverty and absorption of unemployment as well as financial and administrative corruption rampant in state facilities over the past years, but I think that there are other parties trying to politicize these demonstrations and jump on them to achieve agendas relating to the political process And ignore the demands of the demonstrators and stalling will be the scene of social and political

And the government should begin a rapid pace and to develop solutions for short-term and spot some of the problems related to long-term infrastructure

Baghdad (news) .. The economic expert Ghazi Kanani said that Iraq needs to three years for the advancement of economic reality.

He said Kanani (of the Agency news) today: “Six months is not enough to radical solutions, but we need to for at least three years, adding to the existence of a workshop run (24) hours to get to a quantum leap and good service.”

He called Kanani government to “remedy the situation through the presence of a bona fide attempt to campaign reform and the launch of economic laws, noting that most of the projects being prepared by the Government seven years ago have not been implemented did not knock brick one has enormous benefit to the Iraqi people.”

Senior officials in the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Iraq said there were “doubts” the existence of financial transactions with Iran are banned in Iraq, through warnings received by Baghdad to the UN, while a senior U.S. official hinted that there was “increasing association” to Iran, the movement of the financial sector in Iraq.

Iraqi officials say there is no conclusive evidence on the movement of Iranian money in spite of the suspicions that some banks are civil, “interfaces” of the activity of Tehran, which you may want to bypass international sanctions by opening outlets in Iraq.

A member of the House of Representatives for the National Alliance Fouad Alldorki that “the law of oil and gas since 2007 is included on the agenda of the House of Representatives but failed to acknowledge the result of political differences.”

The Alldorki in a statement to the radio station “if the approval of oil and gas law in the previous parliamentary session to Iraq was producing large quantities of oil and we have the sufficient cash flow from the money that solves a lot of bottlenecks and problem particularly with regard to the operation of hands unemployed and the provision of the ration card items.

Even the nominees who don’t win their category at Sunday’s 83rd Academy Awards walk away with gift baskets filled with expensive knick knacks – expensive as in worth upwards of $100,000, according to Gwen Flamberg, Beauty Director at Us Weekly Magazine.

President Barack Obama says the economic recovery will stall if Congress can’t agree on spending cuts and avoid a government shutdown.

The current budget expires next Friday. That means lawmakers must OK a new spending plan before the March 4 deadline to keep much of the government from running out of money and closing. The Republican-run House and Democratic-controlled Senate are bickering over how much to cut.

Three lawmakers on Thursday urged President Barack Obama to consider tapping America’s emergency oil supply to help lower crude prices that have spiked above $100 a barrel over disruptions in Libya.

The International Energy Agency, which coordinates policy among the world’s consumer nations, has said it would likely let OPEC move first to address any supply shortages. But the call by the Democratic Representatives suggests pressure is starting to build for Obama to get more involved.

The law, approved by the Council of Ministers last week, and sent a copy of it to the House of Representatives for approval, with effect from the first of April next, to determine my salary, the President and the Prime Minister of the eight million dinars paid nominal and four million dinars allocations presidential elections, while giving the President of the House of Representatives a monthly stipend of twelve million dinars, while the salary of the minister identified five million dinars and a nominal salary of three million dinars allocation position, and gives a member of the House of Representatives a monthly stipend of eight million dinars.

Reporters had been decided to arrest, torture and brutal treatment by the government forces of oppression, brought a lawsuit against the so-called Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Nuri al-Maliki.

He said media personnel in a statement published on Sunday they had been arrested and tortured after their coverage of popular passion, which was launched last Friday in Tahrir Square, downtown Baghdad. Stating that these arbitrary measures came as part of the crackdown against journalists and the press, so they decided to file a lawsuit against Maliki, who is behind these arrests.

The journalists in their statement, which followed him at a conference attended by representatives of the Iraqi and Arab press and foreign: that the arrest was made without formal notice and without declaring the military were arrested for the same, while the number of them said they had been subjected to beatings and brutal torture during arrest and during interrogation.

The Central Bank of Iraq adviser said on Sunday that Iraq’s per capita income will reach 2016 to 9000 U.S. dollars.

He said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the average per capita income of Iraq would, according to the development plan adopted by the State after six years to 9 thousand dollars, after contributing to economic development activities in the lift according to the plan drawn up by the government.”

Delivered by Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki’s speech at the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, select the period (100) days after the assessment of the work being individual ministries and see how their success or failure in performance of work assigned to them, starting from today’s date.
