Said President Jalal Talabani: that the response to the legitimate demands of the people is devoted to the legitimacy of power and consolidation of a democratic system in the country.

Talabani said: “that there are mistakes

And Abizaid: “If the protest is really legitimate and constitutionally guaranteed, the attempts to destabilize the democratic system can not accept them, because the power in our country circulates through the will of the people represented by the general election, through the ballot box.”

Talabani expressed his regret about the events which saw the shootings and other acts that led to casualties and injuries, and called for an investigation to find out and to hold negligent.
