Deputy for the center calls the Iraqi parliament to speed up legislation of laws

Baghdad, March 8 (Rn) – The president of the Alliance center in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Tuesday, the Council did not initiate any law except the law of the general federal budget for 2011, since the beginning of its meetings to this day.

And Ayad al-Samarrai said the Kurdish news agency (Rn) “There are more than 200 law accumulated from the previous session did not do until now”, criticizing at the same time the celebration hosted by the House of Representatives during a session today on the occasion of “International Women’s Day.”

And is celebrated worldwide each year on the eighth of March, International Women’s Day, the celebration of this occasion came following the first Conference of the World Federation of Democratic Women, which was held in Paris in 1945.

He stressed that “the Council that did not begin serious work instead of letters may be serious consequences, and if the previous demonstrations passed slightly damaged can lead to aggravation of the next issues,” noting that “there is a popular protest on the performance of the Council of Representatives.”

And renewed demonstrations against the lack of services and corruption in Baghdad and other Iraqi cities on Friday, despite the Iraqi government announced a package of reforms to calm the situation in the country.

He called Samurai committees that “shake the dust off the sleeve of the existing laws most of which are for the benefit of the Iraqi people,” pointing out that “the laws of this law, social security, maternity, as well as laws to eliminate unemployment.”

And swept a number of Iraqi cities since the fifth of last month’s massive demonstrations, and came to a head last Friday, when protests spread to the majority of the Iraqi governorates, which killed about 10 people in clashes with security forces.

The focus on the demands of citizens to reduce corruption and improve services, increase the hours of processing power, and the delivery of the ration card on a regular basis without interruption, and to find successful solutions to eliminate unemployment, the resolution and the dismissal of some governors and local councils
