Established a legal expert filed a lawsuit in Federal Court, against the main Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, and the Council of Representatives, Osama Najafi, for violating the Constitution, and the appointment of three deputy prime minister, calling for repeal of these procedures for the appointment of Representatives.
Ismail said Alwan al-Tamimi, “Alsumaria News” on Sunday, that he had filed the lawsuit “from his responsibility as a citizen and an Iraqi legal expert, to challenge the procedures for appointing three deputy prime minister, for it is contrary to the Constitution and the law.”
He added that the appointment of these deputies, “was contrary to the provisions of Article 139 of the Constitution, which stipulates that the Prime Minister as Vice-only in the first electoral cycle,” noting that, according to the concept of the offense, the Prime Minister “Vice during the election cycle, only the first, and has no any deputy after the end of that session, because the lifetime of this office has identified a constitutional electoral cycle and ends with the first end of which, “according to his opinion.
