Baghdad, March 23 (AKnews) – The National Coalition (NC) said Wednesday that the delay in voting for the deputies of the president was due to political necessities that emerged from the previous stage, while the Iraqiya list headed by Allawi assure that it didn’t cause any delay in voting for the deputies.
The Iraqi parliament postponed last month voting for the deputies of the president of the Republic because of the dispute over Khudair al-Khuzaie who was nominated for the post by Maliki’s coalition.

“The Council of Ministers has approved the draft-law on the promulgation of the Settlement of Claims between the Iraqi government and the government of the United States of America, raising it to the Parliament for final approval according to the Iraqi constitution,” Ali al-Dabbagh told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
