Baghdad, March 23 (AKnews) – The National Coalition (NC) said Wednesday that the delay in voting for the deputies of the president was due to political necessities that emerged from the previous stage, while the Iraqiya list headed by Allawi assure that it didn’t cause any delay in voting for the deputies.
The Iraqi parliament postponed last month voting for the deputies of the president of the Republic because of the dispute over Khudair al-Khuzaie who was nominated for the post by Maliki’s coalition.

Iraqi trade granted 50 export license and the renewal of import license 663 in the last month

Baghdad, 23 March (Rn) – The Iraqi Ministry of Trade, on Wednesday, announced that it has issued 50 export license, industrial materials and food, and renewed 633 import license in the month of February last.
The general director of company exhibits at the ministry approved Hussain Sultan, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) “The General Company for Exhibitions granted 50 licenses for export to companies interested in dates, and inks industry, leather and plastic materials.”
Iraq has suffered from weak exports due to the flow of goods imported from abroad and the loss of government strategy for private sector development.

Iraq’s Council of Ministers has approved, in its Tuesday session, the draft-law on the “Settlement of Claims” between Iraq and the United States, the Official Spokesman for the Iraqi government said on Wednesday.
“The Council of Ministers has approved the draft-law on the promulgation of the Settlement of Claims between the Iraqi government and the government of the United States of America, raising it to the Parliament for final approval according to the Iraqi constitution,” Ali al-Dabbagh told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
