A member of the parliamentary energy commission Friday that the oil and gas law in its current form does not separate functions between the Ministry of Oil and the Federal Council is expected formed after the promulgation of the law, and the Commission is working on the separation of their functions.

He said Furat al-Shara’s (Rn) The Energy Commission in the House of Representatives diagnosed a clear flaw in the law of oil and gas, the subject of separate functions and tasks between the Ministry of oil and oil between the Federation Council.

He said al-Shara said his commission would not provide oil and gas law to the Presidency, the House of Representatives only after the end of all legal problems, and particularly the separation of functions between the Ministry of Oil and the Federal Council of oil which will hopefully be established after the adoption of the law of oil and gas directly.

He said the law, oil and gas as the current level of ambition is not to be approved, but at the same time is not a law pessimistic as some observers say, but he needs to review the minutes.
