Iraqi reveal the concern of U.S., European and Islamic delayed naming of security

A government source said that the high-level U.S. delegation will arrive in Baghdad on Saturday morning in the four-day visit.

Said UN envoy in Iraq, Ad Melkert said the Iraqi government may soon recognize the limits of the State of Kuwait, ending two decades of international sanctions.

WASHINGTON, April 15 (KUNA) — The chief of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, warned late Thursday the global economic crisis continues despite improving economic conditions, posing high unemployment rates as the biggest threat to global recovery.

Cairo, April 15 (AKnews)- Amro Mousaa General Secretary for Arab League said member states in Arab League only unanimously can cancel Arab summit in Baghdad.

In a joint press conference with Hoshyar Zebari the Iraqi Foreign Minister in Cairo Thursday, Moussa said that Zebari has proposed for a meeting of his counterparts from the member states in the Arab league to discuss possibility of holding Baghdad summit on time. However, the date for such a high meeting is yet to be set.

Baghdad, April 15 (Rn) – Dozens of citizens in Tahrir Square in central Baghdad on Friday, demanding the release of detainees, fighting corruption and the provision of services, but some of them for the first time called for the resignation of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s office.

And comes a day after one of the Declaration of Baghdad operations for not allowing the citizens to organize demonstrations in Tahrir Square, after the places identified for this purpose.

Baghdad, 15 April (Rn) – The Central Bank of Iraq adviser said Friday that the Bank is working to organize the work of Islamic banks through a special law legislation during the next few days.

He said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the central bank law in connection with legislation regulating the work of Islamic banks in the country, especially with respect to loans, conversion of the Islamic system of interest on a system of profit and loss.”

He pointed out that “the number of Islamic banks in Iraq have arrived at six banks, most notably the Bank of the country and the Bank of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank of Kurdistan.”

On March 19, 2011, the State Bank of Vietnam released the decision to raise the compulsory reserve ratio, imposed on foreign currency deposits, from four percent to six percent. The State Bank also decided to set a cap of three percent per annum on the interest rates of foreign currency deposits.
