An advisor of the Iraqi Central Bank, Dr. Mohammed Saleh appearance that the bank adheres to its policy regarding the removal of three zeros from Iraqi dinar traded at present.

The Chancellor said in an interview for Radio Free Iraq that the application of political restructuring of the Iraqi currency would fix the management problems, faced by the inflation of the cash block in the country’s $ 28 trillion dinars, especially since the structure of the current currency is no longer commensurate with the prices and costs in Iraq.

BAGHDAD (Iba) .. Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Iraq’s adherence to convene the Arab summit in Baghdad on schedule and rejected calls that referred to the cancellation or frozen, on the grounds that in the situation of Arab revolutions in a number of countries.

The newspaper Asharq al-Awsat for Zebari reiterated that he would not hesitate to visit the Gulf States, particularly Saudi Arabia; to end any concerns or disagreements over the Arab Summit, due to its importance in maintaining the Arab national security and patrol the summit.

Baghdad, April 16 (Rn) – Raising the Iraqi Council of Representatives to its on Sunday after it hosted the Minister of Education Mohammed Tamim, who responded to questions and interventions of Representatives.

The Iraqi Council of Representatives has hosted last March by Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki and Vice Saleh al-Mutlaq and Hussein Shahristani and a number of the service ministries including ministries of oil and electricity, and discussed the work program of reforms made by the Prime Minister.

Baghdad, April 16 (Rn) – The coalition of state law is a component of the National Alliance led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Saturday, for that this week will provide the names of candidates for security ministries even find agreement among the political blocs.

Kuwait, Iraq agree on creating safe maritime environment

KUWAIT, April 16– Kuwait and Iraq agreed in a meeting today to cooperate closely on maritime issues that affect both countries, including implementation of maritime protocols shared by them.

This came out in the third border security meeting held by the two sides at Umm al-Qasr Naval Base here in Kuwait, where two delegations representing each country, reviewed a gamut of land and maritime border issues.

Heading the Kuwaiti delegation was Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Border Security Major General Sheikh Muhammad al-Youssef al-Sabah, whereas the Iraqi counterpart was headed by Commander of Basra Operations General Muhammad Jawad Huwaidi.

Baghdad, 16 April (Rn) – Voice of Iraqi Council of Representatives, Saturday, the Convention on the Law of the settlement of claims between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the United States Government, in principle, while the Liberals refused to block the vote on the law.

The MP said the bloc Liberal Bahaa al in a press conference held with a group of deputies of his bloc in the House of Representatives and was attended by the correspondent of news agency Kurdistan (Rn) that “the House of Representatives voted in principle to the law of the settlement of claims between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the United States.”

Re-convene the House of Representatives today after it raised its Presidency of the parliament session on Thursday for lack of quorum, rejecting accusations sent to it by political parties.

And saw the corridors of Parliament yesterday, differences over paragraph vote on the Vice President of the Republic after the members withdrew a coalition of state law from meeting of the Council of Representatives to doubt seriously the vote on the candidate Khudair Khuzaie for the position of Vice President of the Republic, with varied information regarding the existence of a deal held parliamentary blocs.

NC deputy: Maliki ready to submit security ministry candidates amid ongoing disputes

Baghdad, April 16 (AKnews) – An MP from the National Coalition (NC)’s State of Law Coalition (SLC) said on Saturday that the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki will submit the names of the candidates for the as yet unassigned security ministries in the coming week.

Abbas al-Bayati told AKnews that the NC has authorized Mailiki to announce the nominees for the disputed posts despite ongoing disagreements between the political blocs.

The news comes just days after the SLC pointed an accusatory finger at the al-Iraqiya List for stalling the selection process by failing to agree on their own candidates for the posts.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Leader of al-Iraqiya Coalition, Iyad Allawi, has warned that his Coalition would withdraw from the current government if the Initiative of Kurdistan President, Masoud Barzani, toSettle the political crisis in the country would not be Implemented.

Zebari: We are ready for dialogue with senior officials of Gulf

New Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Iraq’s adherence as one of the founding of the League of Arab States the right to host the Arab summit due to be held in Baghdad on 10 and 11 next May.

Assurances Zebari this came, as was agreed to hold an emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers soon to discuss developments in the request the Gulf Cooperation Council to cancel the summit of Baghdad. President Jalal Talabani with Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman, the expansion of strategic cooperation between the two countries, according to a presidential statement.

The statement said that Talabani and Jeffrey discussed in Baghdad on Friday, attended by U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, the bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the United States and ways to expand the prospects of strategic cooperation between the two countries.
