Baghdad, June 5 (Rn) – ordered by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Sunday, making the Cabinet meetings are open to Iraqi citizens, to review the achievement of the ministries during the period of 100 days established by the Maliki cabinet ministers to improve the performance of their ministries after the outbreak of popular protests in a number of provinces Iraq calls for the provision of services.

A media adviser to Prime Minister Ali al-Moussawi, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) “Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki had ordered the convening of meetings of the Council of Ministers on a daily basis, and transfer through the media directly in order to allow a citizen to stand on the work and ministries of the government within 100 days.”

Will Iraq Tilt the 2012 US Election?

Nobody should be surprised that deadly violence is making an alarming return to daily life in Iraq. The real surprise may come a year from now. If the Iraqi government can’t hold itself or the country together, foreign policy could leap ahead of jobs and spending as a major campaign issue in the next presidential race.

Anybody want to bet on how many American troops will still be in Iraq after December 31st? The Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) signed by George W. Bush is a plan not a guarantee. The Iraqis may ask for some of our troops to stay on into 2012. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki recently said he’ll make that decision by August.

Kuwait Energy Co. signs deals to develop two Iraqi gas fields

KUWAIT, June 5 Kuwait Energy Company signed on Sunday two deals with the Iraqi Oil Ministry to develop the Siba and Mansuriya gas fields over a 20-year period.

Kuwait Energy’s Board Chairman and Chief Executive, Sara Akbar, who signed the separate deals on behalf of the Kuwaiti company, said the step is the beginning of a productive partnership, and a positive step forward in Kuwaiti relations with Iraq.

Maliki ordered the transfer of the Council of Ministers on the air

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Sunday, the transfer of the Council of Ministers on the air, while calling for the involvement of citizens assess the work of the ministries within a hundred days.

A statement issued by the Office of the Prime Minister and received the “Alsumaria News”, a copy of that decision, “Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is holding daily public meetings of the Council of Ministers on the movement of air directly at eight in the evening.”

The statement added that “Maliki is the involvement of citizens assess the work of ministries in evaluating the performance of ministries and Mwossat state and local governments within a hundred days.”

Iraq seeks to arrest Trade Bank of Iraq manager who fled the country

N Baghdad (Reuters) – A government source said an Iraqi bank and the lawyer that the authorities issued an arrest warrant for President of the Bank is one of the largest banks and Iraq is under investigation because of alleged irregularities.

A government source said that Hussein Azri Director and Chairman of the Board of Trade Bank of Iraq’s state-owned fled to Lebanon. There was no contact on his mobile phone.

And ordered Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki Bijra judicial investigation on Thursday after the bank informed the committee that includes officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission of Iraq and the Audit Commission about the “irregularities” in the bank.

VietFinanceNews.com – The central State Bank of Vietnam on Wednesday toughened its stance on the foreign exchange market, forcing State-owned enterprises to sell U.S. dollars to banks on one hand and raising the reserve requirements for dollar deposits at banks on the other.

Under Circular 13/2011/TT-NHNN issued by the central bank, State-owned groups and corporations, including those enterprises where the State holds majority stakes, have to sell all dollar sources to credit institutions from July 1.

World Bank backs Vietnamese Gov’t Resolution 11

VietFinanceNews.com – World Bank experts on Thursday advised Vietnam to continue implementation of the Government’s Resolution No. 11 in a stable and effective way to reset three macro economic indices of inflation, forex rate and foreign reserve.

WB chief economic expert Deepak Mishra, at the press conference on Thursday prior to the Consultative Group’s mid-term meeting in Hanoi, said Vietnam had gained success in stabilizing the macro economy. These include easing inflation, narrowing the gap between official and black-market forex rates while foreign reserve was kept at import value for two and a half months.

MP Jayashi: Political efforts from UN member countries asking for resolution of US forces to exit Iraq

Baghdad – MP from Ahrar Bloc, Khalid Al Jayashi, unveiled that the Ahrar Bloc is exerting political efforts within countries members of UN to issue a resolution of the US exit from Iraq.

Jayashi’s media office quoted him as saying “Arab and world countries support the Sadr Trend’s demand of the exit of the US forces, especially after the demonstrations in a number of countries,” declining to name the countries supporting their demands.

“The Sadr Trend has moved on the parliament level to collect signatures to ask the parliament presidency to have a vote for the demand of the US forces departure,” he concluded.

Erbil, June 5 (Rn) – An Iraqi oil minister on Sunday, he was preparing to go to the Austrian capital Vienna on Monday, at the head of an Iraqi delegation, in order to participate in the meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

He said Abdul Karim and coffee to the Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) announced today that it was “decision to extend on Monday to the Austrian capital Vienna on top of an Iraqi delegation in order to participate in the meeting of the Organization of the World Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) scheduled to be held next Wednesday.”

BAGHDAD – The Feed – A member of the National Coalition for the state of law Falh agreement of the political blocs to suspend meetings until the full House of Representatives, not the Iraqi requested an adjournment.

Trade Bank of Iraq under investigation

Iraq’s prime minister on Thursday ordered a judicial investigation into one of the country’s biggest banks, the Trade Bank of Iraq, saying it was suspected of committing “violations”.

The bank’s president and chairman, Hussein Al-Uzri, could not be reached for comment.

A British adviser to the bank’s board, Sir Claude Hankes, condemned the move by Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki’s government as “political skulduggery”. He said the bank had resisted efforts by members of the government to try to make it undertake “improper banking transactions”.

Download the Executive Director of the Association of private banks, Abdul Aziz Hassoun was the government responsible for some private banks to the financial problems and crises experienced by now, referring to the Warka Investment bank and Basra international rapporteurs, who live a state of fiscal deficit and the lack of financial liquidity in them.

The NVA Hassoun in an interview with a reporter and news agency, Baghdad International said the fiscal deficit is witnessed by the bank Uruk and Basra special is the result of bankruptcy, noting that due to the loss of liquidity in these banks because the government departments that had deposited large sums of money to these banks to withdraw those funds by government decision surprise of all private banks without obligation to restore the dates that had been proven under the terms of the deposit and withdrawal.

Baghdad, June 4 – Eliminated Deputy for the Iraqi List headed by Iyad Allawi, Saturday, to witness the country during the remaining years of the life of the government security minister named by the political blocs, expected that these positions remain vacant.

Said Nahida Daini told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the Iraqi List, submitted six names for the position of the Ministry of Defence, but the problem is to be nominated by the Iraqi List, rejects the rule of law and who was accepted by state law rejected by the Iraqi List.”

Supreme Council called on the government to reveal the “political views” behind the security crisis

He is a member of the Islamic Supreme Council on Sunday, that the security crisis facing Iraq stands behind her political views is working to extend the stay of U.S. forces in Iraq, stressing that these bodies serve the political project, and kill Iraqis at the same time, while the Iraqi government demanded its disclosure.
