LONDON (Babuz): According to the Daily Telegraph on Monday that the U.S. military prepares to hand over a group of palaces of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to the Iraqi government. The newspaper said the nine palaces and a mural of Saddam Hussein and former prison cell is one of the property vacated by U.S. forces as the deadline for withdrawal from Iraq due on 31 December next.

Erbil, June 13 (AKnews) – Iraqi Ministers of Foreign Affairs and of Transportation will attend the parliamentary session on Thursday to justify a recent agreement with Kuwait over both countries competing port projects.

Two weeks ago, Kuwait announced it would be ready to talk and sign an agreement to guarantee that Kuwait’s new Mubarak Port will not interfere with Iraq’s ports Umm Qasr and Al-Faw.

Mubarak port will be built on Boubyan Island in Kuwait, just a few kilometers away from Umm Qasr, Iraq’s only deepwater port, and the site of Iraq’s Al Faw port project, by Korean company Hyundai. Mubarak Port is projected to reach completion by 2016 at a cost of $1.1bn and will process 1.8m containers a year by 2015.

Baghdad, June 13 (Rn) – The Iraqi List led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi on Monday, the existence of effort by the political parties to contain the crisis between them on one hand and the rule of law on the other hand, noting that the aggravation of the current differences will come with negative results on Iraqi street.

He said an independent member of the Iraqi List, a full-Dulaimi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), said that “there is an initiative of the brothers in the Sadr movement, and the initiative from the brothers in the Kurdistan Alliance to contain the escalation between Iraq and the rule of law,” stressing that “the escalation of differences between those who did not serve the political process and will come with negative results on the Iraqi street. “

VietFinanceNews.com – By adding $900 million in May, Vietnam’s forex reserve now is estimated to reach $13.5 billion, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said in the Consultative Group meeting for Vietnam on Jun 9.

The close combination between credit and suitably-adjusted forex rate has supported to stabilise the forex market particularly and macroeconomy generally, the organisation representative commented.

This was shown clearly in the international finance market as credit default index (CDs) of Vietnam fell about 100 basic points from over 400 basic pts in February.

WASHINGTON, June 13 (UPI) — U.S. auditors suggest that some of an unaccounted-for $6.6 billion in cash meant to help Iraq rebuild after the American-led 2003 invasion may have been stolen.

The huge missing sum was part of a $12 billion cash airlift the administration of President George W. Bush authorized in 2003 and 2004.

The U.S. and Iraqi governments are closing the books on the program this month but after multiple audits and investigations the Pentagon can’t say what happened to the $6.6 billion — enough to run the Los Angeles or Chicago school systems for a year — the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.

CBI completed the legal procedures to protect his money from Washington

Baghdad, June 13 (Rn) – The Central Bank of Iraq that Iraq has completed all legal procedures and bank intervention to protect Iraqi funds in the White House until next June.

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki had said earlier that Iraqi money still at risk unless it is accelerated legal requirements to protect the White House to the Iraqi funds.

The central bank adviser said the appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “Iraq has now completed all legal procedures and cash to become the Iraqi funds in the protection of the White House until next June for fear of manipulation of trade creditors counterfeiters.”

The International Monetary Fund expects to grow real GDP in Iraq at a rate of 9.6 per cent this year, and decrease the total official debt of 107.8 billion U.S. dollars to 33.9 billion dollars.

But it is clear that the banking system in Iraq is still undeveloped – especially for a country of more than 31 million people.

Baghdad (news) .. announced the Finance Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives that the end of June will be the date for calculating oil savings achieved over the last six months of this year.

A member of the Committee MP for the National Alliance Faleh in effect told the reporter Agency (news) today, said the rise in world oil prices, which amounted to about $ 100 per barrel during the past six months, a boy and a savings of Iraq will be calculated as the end of June, confirming the existence of programs that can is the exchange through these savings in addition to those that put in the budget.

A spokesman for the Iraqi List, Haider Mulla said head of the list by Iyad Allawi will be a request to the House of Representatives to question the Prime Minister on the violence suffered by demonstrators in Tahrir Square, and corruption plaguing the state’s institutions. Mulla said that Allawi will be on Monday the request to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives in order to determine the earliest date for the interrogation of al-Maliki at a public meeting, noting that question the prime minister does not need only the signing of twenty-five members for approval.

Erbil, June 13(AKnews) – Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani is said to be concerned about Iraq’s political process and has called on rivaling political blocs to settle their disputes through dialogue.

Presidential office head, Fuad Hussein, said Barzani was particularly worried about the ongoing row between the two major political blocs led by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and former interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi.

Tensions between the two leaders came to a head on Friday when a group of pro-Maliki demonstrators, calling for the execution of the perpetrators of the al-Dujail wedding massacre, clashed with anti-Maliki protesters in Baghdad.
