Economic concerns of the inability of Iraq to provide permanent protection for its oil revenues

Baghdad, June 19 (Rn) – The number of Iraqi economists fear of the inability of the Iraqi government in the provision of legal mechanisms to protect Iraq’s oil revenues after next June.

The economic expert and member of the Higher Council for trading cash Shaker Abdullah Zamili of Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) that “financial institutions in the Iraqi government is unable to provide protections solid after next June, unless the works to address gaps banking government and the evolution of the performance of private banks to share the process of the protection of Iraqi funds from behind the oil revenues. “

Allawi refrain from attending the meeting of the leaders called for Talabani to resolve political crisis

Iraqi parliament to raise its 28 of this month after the vote on two bills

Baghdad, June 19 (Rn) – The Iraqi Parliament Speaker adjourned the Council to the 28th of this month after the vote on the bills and the first reading of the law to postpone the vote on the bills of others.

International reports: Rising food prices by 30%

Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development that the rise in food prices in the next decade by more than 30%, and that any further increase would have a disastrous impact on the world’s poor.

The Secretary-General of the Organization Anguilla Goeriaa that any further increases in food prices worldwide will have a disastrous impact on the world’s poor, and might lead to political turmoil and famine. The report of a joint FAO and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, that grain prices will rise by 20%, meat – do not especially for chicken meat – more than 30%, note that food prices are high now about 40% compared to last year’s prices.

Government pledges strict monetary policies next year

VietFinanceNews.com – Tight monetary and fiscal policies will be prioritised in 2012 in order to continue taming inflation, stabilise the Vietnam dong and heighten foreign currency reserves, said Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The PM requested ministries, agencies and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to draw out development plans and budget estimates for next year.

The dollar is poised to reverse its almost decade-long bear market trend as global growth slows, Europe’s debt problems worsen and theFederal Reserve ends its asset-buying program, according to Citigroup Inc.

The dollar may stop weakening, as it has since the 2000- 2002 period, and enter a bull market for the first time since 1995, Tom Fitzpatrick, chief technical analyst at Citigroup Inc. in New York, said in a note to clients.

Expressed the Kuwaiti Embassy in Iraq, Sunday, optimism about the resolution of the crisis with Iraq, the port of Mubarak, saying it quoted requests for clarification made by the Iraqi government to the government of her country.

The Kuwaiti ambassador in Iraq to the insured in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “all documents obtained by the Iraqis moved to the Kuwaiti government,” noting that “the documents included a request for clarification of some points of the Government of Kuwait on the construction of the port of Mubarak.”

BAGHDAD (Babinaoz / Reuters) – A senior official of the Central Bank of Iraq to the annual core inflation accelerated to 7.3 percent in May from 6.1 percent in April, driven by the cost of imported goods and services especially in the health care sector. Qasim said the appearance of the bank’s adviser, “there is little inflation this year, but still under control. I do not think it will exceed the (single digit).”

The Central Bank of Iraq in April that he expected annual inflation to remain in the single digits by the national program of ration, who helped absorb some price increases. And draws most of Iraq’s imports of wheat, rice, cooking for the program, which provides basic food for millions of citizens.

The state of law emphasizes reaching understandings with the Iraqi on the points of difference

Coalition confirmed the rule of law led by Nuri al-Maliki, said Saturday that it has reached understandings with the Iraqi List, a large on points of dispute and resolve the outstanding issues between them.

Baghdad, June 19 (Rn) – Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said on Sunday that he will submit his report to assess the ministries and independent bodies for deadline percent on Tuesday, pointing out that listening to the achievements of independent bodies within the specified period will end tomorrow.

House of Representatives to raise its fifth after Tuesday

Raised the presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Sunday, the fifth session of parliament of the second legislative year to the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, in a parliamentary source said that the meeting witnessed a vote on the three laws and the first and second readings of a number of laws.
