One billion dollars for the construction of a new Iraqi parliamentarians
House of Representatives announced the allocation of a plot of land with an area of 100 dunums in Al-Muthanna airport site for the establishment of a new building of the Council of one billion dollars.
The adviser said the President of the Council for Foreign Affairs, Amjad Abdul Hameed at a special statement (the statement) that the area of a piece of land of 100 acres at the site of an inclusive Grand to benefit from the construction on the site, noting that the House occupies a building at the Conference Palace, a custom basis for holding conferences, and not for meetings of Parliament.
He explained that this project were more than two years as a committee was formed comprising representatives of ministries, municipalities, age, culture, and the secretariat of Baghdad, Baghdad University, I studied all the requirements needed to establish this architectural edifice that has been allocated a sum of one billion dollars.
He explained that the project will also include construction of the federal and provincial council after we got the extra space the other is estimated at (100) acres the other, indicating that it will also set up (11) another building for the library, research and health center, a bank and a housing complex for members of the guests in addition to the building of the headquarters of the blocks political offices and members of the House of Representatives, expressing hope that suffered is laying the foundation stone during the current year. He said he will invite international companies through a competition held for this purpose after that to complete all the procedures.
He stressed that there is coordination going on with the Ministry of ages for the purpose of the allocation of the amounts required for this historic building within the investment budget for 2012 in coordination with the Ministry of Planning estimated the cost of which more than (billion dollars) and period (6) years for all stages.
