Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime Minister Rowsch Nouri Shaways discussed today with US ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffery bilateral political and economic relations and means to promote them.

Shaways pointed out, according to a statement issued by his office, that exceptional efforts are being exerted in order to finish the government formation and implement all political agreements.

An Iraqi parliament session in BaghdadBAGHDAD — Iraqi lawmakers have decided to vacate their premises in the capital city’s well-protected Green Zone and move to a new building in central Baghdad, RFE/RL’s Radio Free Iraq (RFI) reports.

Parliament rapporteur Muhammad al-Khalidi told RFI today that the legislature has approved a $1 billion plan for a new parliament building not far from the National Museum in downtown Baghdad.

He said the parliament is currently housed in the Palace of Conventions inside the Green Zone, which is designed for conferences rather than parliamentary sessions.

Issawi: of a meeting next week between the finance ministers of Iraq and Turkey, Iran, Syria and Iran

Baghdad (news) .. Detection and Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi about a meeting next week between the prospective and the finance ministers of Iraq and Turkey, Iran and Syria in Tehran to discuss a number of important files.

Parliamentary sources revealed, Wednesday, the Iraqi Council of representatives will discuss and vote on a number of projects at its forthcoming session, indicating that the update will be tomorrow, questioning the Chairman of the Board of the independent High Electoral Commission.

The source said in an interview for “Sumerian news”, “the agenda of the seventh meeting of the second legislative year, to be held on Thursday, will see the completion of the premier ihec Faraj, pointing out that” shrine “8th meeting to be held next Saturday will vote on laws discriminatory nominate judges for the body entrusted with consideration of appeals on the decisions of an accountability and justice and the Federal Court and selected”.

Iraq affirms that Allawi had surgery in London

Şafak/the Iraqi list, revealed Wednesday, its leader Ayad Allawi to undergo surgery she successful outside Iraq.

The Iraqi spokesman said in an interview for the book of Shaker (şafak) that “leader of the Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi underwent surgery in London due to the effects of the assassination in the British capital by about three decades.”

Baghdad (news) .. the Iraqi bloc expressed concerns about the implications of statements made by the House of Representatives, which launched in Washington, and which carried a warning that the marginalization of the Sunni’s will be tempted to request the establishment of the province.

Baghdad (news) .. A Deputy in / National Alliance / the start of the meeting of the National Alliance to discuss the statements made by the House of Representatives on the establishment of Osama Najafi, a Sunni province in Iraq.

The Najafi, who is one of the most prominent leaders in Iraq, said free space during his official visit to the United States, which started on June 20, said that there are (Sunni frustration) in Iraq, and if not treated quickly enough, considering the year of secession.

The MP, who declined to be named in the statement singled out by the Agency (news) on Wednesday: “The National Alliance start just before a meeting to discuss recent comments Najafi on the establishment of a Sunni region.”

Special (Baghdad Post) – Raising the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Wednesday, its sixth in the second legislative term until tomorrow, Thursday, at a time, a number of House members to collect signatures to question the President of the Council Osama Najafi, on his recent comments of the United States on the formation of the territory of the year .

VietFinanceNews.com – The central bank is consulting relevant authorities over a draft circular that would bring down the foreign exchange position of local credit institutions and foreign bank branches in the country to 20% from the current 30%.

The current regulation requires banks to hold an amount of foreign currency equivalent to a maximum of 30% of their equity at the end of each trading day. This rule has been in place since 2002 when banks’ equity was small.

Canada’s dollar climbed the most since December versus its U.S. counterpart after consumer prices rose more than forecast, prompting traders to ratchet up bets the central bank will resume raising interest rates.

The currency strengthened versus most of its 16 most-traded peers as stocks and commodities rose after Greek lawmakers approved a package of austerity measures amid a 48-hour strike and protests. The gain cut the Canadian dollar’s monthly loss to 0.2 percent. A government report tomorrow will show the nation’s gross domestic product contracted in April, economists predict.

The euro reached two-week high against the dollar as investors raised bets the European Central Bank will increase interest rates next week after the passage of austerity measures by Greek lawmakers.

The 17-nation currency also gained against the Swiss franc andTaiwan’s dollar after Greek Prime Minister George Papandreougarnered enough votes for his 78 billion euro ($112 billion) package of budget cuts and state asset sales needed to tap a fifth portion of last year’s rescue. The dollar sank as stocks and commodities rose amid reduced concern about the European debt crisis, buoying risk demand. Canada’s dollar rallied as consumer prices increased more than forecast.

Nujaifi holds press conference on over recent political developments

Baghdad (NINA) – Speaker of Parliament, Usama al-Nijaifi, will hold a press conference at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 30, in the Parliament’s building.

A statement to the press by the Speaker’s Media Bureau said, “The press conference will be on country’s recent developments.”

It is worth mentioning that Nijaif has concluded a few days visit to the United States, during which he insinuated, during a press conference held there, the possibilities that Sunnis might form an independent region because of being eliminated and marginalized, which resulted in wide spread reaction within Iraq’s political circles.

In a move designed to develop the Iraqi payments system, the Central Bank recently announced a plan to restructure local currency through the upgrading of the local currency and the introduction of new categories of paper.

He justified the appearance of Central Bank Adviser Mohammed Saleh this step that the Iraqi dinar has suffered over the past two decades significant degradation.

Baghdad, June 29(AKnews) – The Planning Ministry announced today that it has allocated $500 million to build residential complexes for the poor, another $500m for the provision of healthcare and a further $500m for education.

Ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Wandawi told AKnews that the complexes will be built within the next four years throughout the Iraqi provinces.
