Continue the mission of the United Nations to help Iraq (UNAMI) is multi-faceted activities as we approach the end of its mandate the end of this month, with expectations that the UN Security Council extend the mandate for another year.

And a few days before the due date to discuss the quarterly report of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon regarding the work of the mission (UNAMI), was quoted as saying that he emphasizes “personal commitment” to achieving the full normalization of Iraq’s international status.

Parliament’s Rapporteur Mohamed Khaldi said ;“ Iraq still under the tutelage of the United Nations according to the imposed resolution within Chapter VII, providing that UN intervene to put an immediate solution to all problems may Iraq exposed to from neighboring countries which is the current case of Iraq with Iran and Kuwait.

Economists call for educating the community to handle your ATM

Baghdad (news) .. approved the Vice Chairman of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary member of the House of Representatives / State of Law / Sheikh Dhari Ali Fayad said the oil and gas and national oil company will settle all the problems associated with this sector.

Fayad said in a statement to the Agency (news) that the end of the obstacles and dilemmas in the Iraqi oil sector legislation will end the oil and gas and national oil company, stressing the critical importance in the coordination of work and advancement of this sector to the ranks of countries in the world.

Iraq may raise its proven oil reserves by 21 percent after adding those from the semi- autonomous Kurdish region, Hussain al-Shahristani, deputy prime minister for energy affairs, said today.

Iraq’s oil reserves may increase to 173 barrels by adding 30 billion barrels of Kurdish oil, al-Shahristani said in a speech to ambassadors at the Foreign Ministry in Baghdad. The country’s crude production capacity will rise to 12 million barrels a day by 2017, he said.

The president of the coalition in Iraq, Iyad Allawi, to Arbil to meet with President of Kurdistan to discuss activating the agreement of Arbil.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Parliament has announced on Sunday its reception of a message from Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to trim down his Cabinet to 29 ministries, instead of its current 43 ministries, according to the Parliament’s Member, Mohammed al-Khalidy.

“The Parliament’s Chairmanship Commission and the Leaders of political groups are discussing today (Sunday) the message of Maliki that arrived today, regarding the trimming down of the government,” Khalidy told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

Iraqi customs recorded a rise in revenues over last June

Baghdad, July 17 (Rn) – The Directorate General of Customs Iraq on Sunday, the arrival of its revenues from the border crossing points during the month of June last to 32 billion Iraqi dinars, an increase rate of about one billion dinars from the previous month.

The Director General of Customs, Major General Salim Nawfal Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) that “Iraq’s revenues from the customs border for the month of June amounted to 32 and a half billion Iraqi dinars from all border crossing points.”

The revenue of the General Customs border crossing points during the month of May / May 31 billion and 669 million dinars.

Erbil, July 17 (Rn) – The deputy in the Iraqi Council of Representatives for the Kurdistan Alliance bloc, said on Sunday, that the agenda of the 12th meeting of the deputies of Iraq to be held on Monday includes a first and second readings of several bills most notably a proposal to ban the spread of weapons silenced in Iraq.

According to Said the Messenger of Khoshnaw of Kurdistan News Agency (Rn), that “it is scheduled to hold the Iraqi parliament its 12-day tomorrow,” adding that “the agenda of the session consists of 8 paragraphs include a first reading of the draft law banning the spread of weapons silenced.”

Baghdad, July 17 (Rn) – left the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on Sunday afternoon, Baghdad at the head of a ministerial delegation on an official visit to China’s economic take several days.

Baghdad, July 17 (Rn) – An economic adviser in the Iraqi government, for the government to take a formal decision to appoint Hamdiya dry Director of Commercial Bank of Iraq.

Zebari: We have challenges to emerge from Chapter VII and the shenanigans with the neighborhood

Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Saturday that Iraq faces the challenges highlighted out of the provisions of Chapter VII and the settlement of outstanding issues with the State of Kuwait, as well as problems existing with both Iran and Turkey and on border security, water and common rivers.
