Confirmed that UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said the slow political progress in Iraq is causing daily problems of citizens.

This came in a recent report to moon in his latest report on Iraq, noting that “The Iraqi people can be proud of the progress achieved over the past eight years, but the country still faces formidable political, security and major development need to be strong support from the United Nations, and the international community. “He also stressed that Baghdad, since the formation of the new government this year, the President has taken steps to strengthen its role in the region, pointing to the failure of the political blocs not to install security departments and ministers, in the lost demand that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to reduce the size of government.

Sout Al Basra: The House of Representatives member for the Iraqi bloc white Ahmed Ureybi believed the possibility of resolving the outstanding issues with Kuwait, noting that the joint committees took it upon themselves to resolve these outstanding issues between the two countries.

The Oraibi in a press statement on Wednesday that the outstanding issues with Kuwait will be addressed by the objective during the next few months.

IMF Urges Stronger Yuan The International Monetary Fund said China should let the yuan gain to boost demand and global economic stability, citing the risk that any growth shocks in the country will hurt the world.

Currency appreciation combined with reforms to rebalance the Chinese economy “would yield substantial benefits,” the fund said in astatement late yesterday in Washington. A “major disruption in China’s so-far steady growth would have material adverse consequences,” IMF directors said.

The leader of the Kurdistan Alliance Raundozi in an interview (twilight) that “some of the meetings and consultations that took place between the political blocs, resulted in the kind of understanding about the status of a final solution to the issue of the security ministries vacant,” asserting “the existence of alternative solutions and breakthrough of the crisis that hit this issue “.

Can a currency union ever work?

Not long ago people were discussing the prospect of a GCC currency union based along the lines of the euro. But now that the very future of the Eurozone looks uncertain should a common currency for the GCC be abandoned completely?

To answer this question we need to define the perceived benefits of a common currency and then look at what went wrong with Europe and whether it was avoidable.

Karbala July 21 (AKnews) – Iraqi President Jalal Talabani is expected to call political leaders of rival political blocs to a new meeting at his house in an attempt to solve the political deadlock over power sharing, an MP from State of Law Coalition said today.

Riyadh Gharib said this meeting will be “the last to finish what has been left from the pending lingering disputes between the political blocs about the National Council for Strategic Policies (NCSP), as Maliki has shown approval on what was agreed upon in Erbil.”

With its neighbors facing political and economic turmoil in the wake of the Arab Spring, Iraq could emerge as a business leader in the region, according to a panel of experts hosted by the World Bank.

“Iraq is going to attract a lot of interest,” Hamid Biglari, vice chairman and head of emerging markets and content at Citigroup, told business leaders at the “Investment Prospects in the Wake of the Arab Spring” conference on Wednesday. “Iraq has already went through its difficult stage.”

Seems that the recent escalation in the relations with Kuwait will be strongly present at the next meeting of the UN Security Council.

The report of the recent United Nations was clearly a movement which was carried out by Iraq to protest the construction of a port-Mubarak of Kuwait, as well as Kuwait’s claim of Iraq to give a position on the persons and property lost during the Gulf War, the National Alliance For his part, believes that developments may contribute to some extent in the block out of Iraq from Chapter VII.

Baghdad, July 21 (Rn) – An adviser in the Iraqi government on Thursday to discuss the Council of Ministers next week, the revised version of the draft law of oil and gas in preparation to be sent to the Congress for final ratification.

The government’s Energy Committee, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Shahristani, has handed over the middle of the Council of Ministers the draft law this month after completing adjustments.
