Iraq: State of Kuwait has succeeded in exploiting the U.S. withdrawal to their advantage

Baghdad, November 11 (Rn) – The Foreign Relations Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Friday that Kuwait has succeeded in exploiting the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq to their advantage, indicating that the Iraqi government has not made and will not issue any position on the port of Mubarak and the extent of its impact on navigation in Iraq.

And criticized the Iraqi government on Thursday to form a Kuwait military force to protect the port of Mubarak’s controversial between the two sides, and said that the move would “redouble” the problems between the two sides. (more…)

Iraq: Maliki’s visit to Washington will not address the issue of immunity for U.S. trainers

Baghdad, November 11 (Rn) – The Information Office of the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki that the aim of the latter’s visit to Washington next month is to discuss all participants between the two countries, especially with the continued withdrawal of pieces of U.S. military from Iraq, stressing that there is no justification to discuss the issue granting immunity to American trainers.

The office of Iraqi Prime Minister in a press statement issued on the fourth of this month that al-Maliki will pay an official visit to the United States on December 12 / December at the official invitation from U.S. President Barack Obama.

He received the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, a few weeks ago to support the Iraqi political leaders to the survival of a number of U.S. troops as trainers, but without legal immunity demanded by Washington. (more…)

Iraqi List criticizes Maliki’s call for a freeze on the Constitution

Baghdad, November 11 (Rn) – criticized the Iraqi List led by Iyad Allawi, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the freezing of the Constitution, as a “clear violation” of the Iraqi Constitution and abandon his pledge to the Iraqi people for the maintenance of the Constitution and its application.

Salman said Jumaili head of the Iraqi Council of Representatives of the Iraqi Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) that “the invitation of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the freezing of the Constitution and the reliance on political agreements mean abandoning his pledge to the Iraqi people to the maintenance and application of the Constitution.”

He stressed that the “call a flagrant violation of the provisions of the constitution of Iraq.”

BEIJING: The head of the International Monetary Fund called on Thursday for greater “political clarity” in Greece and Italy, after talks with Chinese leaders dominated by Europe’s worsening debt crisis.

Greece and Italy are grappling with domestic political upheaval brought on by the sovereign debt crisis that has engulfed the eurozone, and Christine Lagarde said both countries urgently needed to sort out their leadership difficulties.

Lagarde also said emerging economies had a role to play in resolving the debt woes threatening the global economy, calling on them to allow their currencies to appreciate.

Iraq plans to build industrial cities across the country

Baghdad, November 11 (Rn) – The Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works Iraqi Federal, Friday, it will build the industrial cities of the country Faamom within the project of redesigning cities to be launched early next year.

The media adviser to the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works Jassim Mohammed, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the Ministry of Municipalities will build industrial cities in all provinces and cities cut off from residential and commercial project within the strategic redesign of cities.” (more…)
