Commercial Bank of Iraq will implement an electronic clearing system in early 2012

{Baghdad} Euphrates News announced the Commercial Bank of Iraq, he decided to work clearing electronic system early next year.

The Director of the bank Hamdiya dry, in her talk with the Euphrates News Agency {} that “the commercial bank will begin the work of the electronic clearing system early next year.”

The presidency of the Council of Representatives will be held on the fourth month of the next January meeting with the heads of parliamentary blocs to discuss a number of issues in the political arena in the country.

Maliki’s visit to Kuwait on Sunday

The Iraqi government said Monday evening that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki will visit Kuwait next Sunday to discuss the outstanding problems between the two countries.

Maliki and discussed with his Kuwaiti counterpart Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in the problems between Baghdad and Kuwait in a telephone Ojeriah earlier Monday.

ERBIL, Dec. 27 (AKnews) – Living cheek by jowl with a spiky companion is never easy and life in the Gulf is no different. Iraq and Kuwait sometimes struggle to see eye-to-eye. They are divided by deep grievances but Kuwait and Iraq are trying to work through their problems like responsible adults.

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki discussed some issues with his Kuwaiti counterpart Jaber Mubarak al-Hamad al-Subah on the telephone on Monday.

As a consequence of their phone call Maliki will head south on Sunday to speak face-to-face with Subah to get some things off his chest. The Mubarak port is seen in Baghdad as Kuwait moving in and cramping Iraq, giving the predominantly landlocked country little room to maneuver. (more…)
