BAGHDAD – Babinaoz (Reuters) – according to a report published in the future of Iraq parliamentary sources criticized the delay in activating the tariff law and the implementation of its provisions because it indirectly protect domestic industries that is a win, plus the national budget.

Received Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki in his official office today by the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Ben Helli.

He welcomed the readiness of sovereignty of all Arab countries to attend the Summit to be held in Baghdad, and hoped to be a successful summit because of the nature of the circumstances and the level of attendance expected. (more…)

Revealed the existing Iraqi President Iyad Allawi for his claim of President Jalal Talabani to mediate a meeting with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to discuss the current political crisis in the country.

Allawi said in an interview “I have asked Talabani to mediate in my meeting with Maliki and required him to get the meeting at the headquarters of the Presidency as the situation of the Iraqi people’s future and stability is the most important things, but we have not heard the answer yet.” (more…)

A commission of economy and investment representative for the Iraqi Central Bank to take a new financial measures in the coming days to curb the smuggling of hard currency. CBI to study the legislation to legalize the process of removing zeros from the local currency

Baghdad, January 30 (Rn) – The Central Bank of Iraq, on Monday, he began to study the need of the project to delete the zeros to submit a bill to the House of Representatives for the purpose of legislation setting out the mechanisms and controls the process of removing three zeroes from the local currency, stressing that its law gives him the powers of a change in their local currency.

Baghdad / babysit – The Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq on Monday, to visit close to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Tehran, adding that the ministers of the two countries will nine reciprocal visits until the end of March 2012, in a move that is standard in terms of the number of official visits exchanged.
