UN calls for the success of the project in Iraq and Federation Council to strengthen the legislative power

Baghdad invited by the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Iraq for political affairs, on Wednesday, members of parliament to work to make the project of the Federation Council, likely to open up the efforts to shape the way for the constitutional review, as he emphasized that there is an agreement between the political leaders on the need to implement Article constitutional council.

GOI Adviser: Washington will renew the protection of Iraqi funds after next June if there is a real need

Baghdad, February 1 (Rn) – The Iraqi federal government, Wednesday, that Washington will renew the protection of Iraqi funds in the banks for another year in Iraq if there is a real need to protect his money in the United States.

He took the White House in June of last year to protect Iraqi funds after a formal request the Iraqi government.

The Legal Adviser to the Prime Minister Fadhil Mohammed Jawad, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the U.S. government will renew the protection of Iraqi assets in banks with the U.S. government deadline of 23 next May, if the Iraqi government requested it.”

He added that “the decision of the Security Council no longer has any money to Iraqi custody since June last year and ended with the protection of Iraqi funds internationalism.” (more…)

Dabbagh: Maliki’s visit to Kuwait is still in place to resolve the differences

Said the Iraqi government, Wednesday, that the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Kuwait still exists, stressing the keenness of the al-Maliki to visit Kuwait and end all outstanding issues between the two countries without any problems.

Iraqi List require the exchange of money against the citizens vote on the budget
