His statements are based on an Iraq parliament investigative report, which resolves that the Kuwaiti mega port will not leave any negative effect on naval mobility in Iraq’s territorial waters. KARBALA, Feb. 29 (AKnews) – The Australian ambassador to Baghdad said her country supports the withdrawal of Iraq from the United Nation’s Chapter VII sanctions, adding that she visited Karbala to discuss investment opportunities.
Lyndall Sachs said in a statement during her visit on Monday: “Australia strongly supports the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII, especially that it applied all its obligations by the International Security Council and the United Nations.”
A decision on Chapter VII is expected to be made by the UN Security Council in June. (more…)

He called for a coalition of state law Haitham Jubouri officials to invest the Arab summit scheduled for late next month, Iraq’s debt in the liquidation of some Arab countries.

Cairo, February 29 (Rn) – The Ambassador Mowaffaq Mahdi Abboud, president of the Department of North and South America in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said Iraq completed all preparations for the Arab summit, including the preparation and rehabilitation of facilities and buildings that host the summit and its guests as well as the security preparations and logistics.
Iraq and sent five ministers to the Arab countries to deliver a formal invitation from President Jalal Talabani to the leaders and the leaders of Arab countries to attend the summit of Baghdad. (more…)
