Praised Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the two sides signed the Kuwaiti and Iraqi night down on the agreement and provisions for claims of Iraqi Airways, believing it is a step in the right direction in terms of resolving the outstanding issues between the fat.

Maliki said in a statement to reporters after the signing of the agreement before leaving Kuwait, “The most important step is our agreement to hold a joint higher committee in addition to the technical committees between the two countries to discuss all these files on the basis of the desire to be resolved,” adding that there are other files “consider accelerating resolved.” (more…)

KUWAIT, March 14 (KUNA) — A senior Kuwaiti official hailed Wednesday evening the talks between Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki and Kuwaiti leaders as being “excellent and in the interest of both brotherly nations’ governments and peoples”.

Speaking to reporters following a dinner banquet held in honor of the Iraqi guests, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Khalid Al-Jarallah said the outcomes of talks would come to light in the new few days, and would be in the common interest of both countries. (more…)

Maliki said in a press statement after meeting today with the President of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Ahmad Al-Saadoun said his current visit to Kuwait is an expression of the interest of the Iraqi government the need to strengthen and establish good relations between the two countries against the backdrop of what he had done the previous regime of work and committing crimes against Kuwait during the invasion . Baghdad (AIN) -The Kuwaiti Premier Sheikh Jabir al-Mubarak, assured that “Kuwait tends to eliminate impediments that hurdle settling the pending issues between the two countries.”

A report by the Iraqiya Satellite Channel quoted Mubarak as saying “The Kuwaiti leadership has the tendency to eliminate these impediments.” (more…)

Erbil, March 14 / March (Rn) – The media advisor to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said on Wednesday that Iraq has reached an agreement worth $ 500 million with Kuwait to settle debts dating back to the Gulf War prevented from Iraqi Airways flights to the West.

Kuwait’s Al Watan newspaper said today in a comment on the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of Kuwait, “Kuwait and Iraq are still in a state of war may not end the war, but write off all outstanding issues and significant force in the crisis between the two countries.”

BAGHDAD – Babinaoz (Reuters) – announced (Iraqi List) for an agreement with its leader, Iyad Allawi, Iraq’s Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani, to hold a national conference to look for a way out of the political crisis in the country before the Arab Summit to be held in Baghdad at the end of this month.

Kuwait expressed newspapers published on Wednesday great interest the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of Kuwait on Wednesday.

BAGHDAD, March 14 (KUNA) — Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki flew to neighboring Kuwait early on Wednesday on a scheduled official visit aimed at boosting bilateral relations between the two regional states.

The Iraqi Government said in a statement the prime minister was accompanied, during his two-day official visit, by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and other senior officials.
