BAGHDAD, April 30 (AKnews) – The federal Finance Committee will meet with officials from the Iraqi Central Bank and Ministry of Finance this week to discuss stabilizing the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar compared with hard currency.
The committee from the Iraqi Council of Representatives announced today they will summon Iraq’s officials from Iraq’s most important financial institutions to get informed about the procedures applied to stabilize the Iraqi dinar, which has been at its lowest level in three years against the US dollar. ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — Several of Iraq’s key leaders have given Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki a 15-day ultimatum to deliver on a previous power-sharing agreement that was reached in 2010, Rudaw has learned.

The two sides continued to Iraqi and Kuwaiti Joint Committee in its work for a longer period than had been expected the night to resolve the outstanding issues between the two countries.

Baghdad (News)/report/Hussein Faleh/… After scathing criticism of the Central Bank against the backdrop of rising US dollar to dinar, Central began to withdraw his hand from thinking to sell hard currency at its auction for one of the State banks.
The Central Bank intends to transfer the auction sale of hard currency to the State commercial bank that the auction does not fall within its competence, what irritated a number of financial experts and parliamentarians because State banks ineligible technology cannot maintain the dinar against the dollar. Confirmed media advisor to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Ali al-Moussawi, said yesterday that the joint committees between Iraq and Kuwait will meet today to examine the outstanding issues and solutions to them, pointing out that to meet with Maliki, the delegation Kuwaiti Media yesterday dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and the role of the media on how to consolidate.

Stabilizing the value of the dinar cost $ 200 billion since 2004
