Baghdad, April 6 (Rn) – discusses the Iraqi Council of Representatives at its meeting on Saturday a draft law on ratification of the Arab Convention for combating money laundering and the financing of “terrorism” as well as view other laws.

Baghdad, April 6 / April (Rn) – The Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation of Iraq on Friday that gross domestic product at constant prices grew by 8.5% over the past year compared to 5.8% in 2010.
He said the ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the development plan for 2011 grew by 8.5 per cent while the proportion of 5.8 percent achieved in the previous year.” (more…)

National Alliance expressed its readiness to attend a national meeting at any time be determined by President Jalal Talabani to solve the problems facing the state-building in accordance with the Constitution.
The First Deputy Chairman of the National Alliance, Khalid al-Attiyah told all of Iraq [where] Friday, “The National Alliance is fully prepared to end all disputes to the political process,” stressing that “solutions must be in accordance with the Constitution and the law.”

Baghdad (newsletter) …The parliamentary Finance Committee member explained Deputy/National Alliance/Abdul Hussein Al-yasseri, the reasons for the low rate of the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar to a lack of dollar sales by the Central Bank in its auction despite the existence of a huge demand for buy it.

BAGHDAD/ Aswat al-Iraq: US dollar price increased in the Iraqi market in a sudden move to reach 122.6 dinars for each dollar, while the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced no sales of foreign currency unless it received a tax clearance from the company and the documents for covering trade remittance.
Following CBI new regulations, the price of the dollar jumped to reach 1260 for each dollar, compared to 1240 dinars per dollar during the last two months. (more…)

BAGHDAD, April 6 (AKnews)- The Iraqi and Kuwaiti foreign ministers will meet in a near future to discuss the procedures for creation of a joint airline, an official said.
On March 14 Baghdad and Kuwait announced an agreement for creation of the airline, worth of $200 million. The airline creation will contribute to reimbursing the suspended $500 million war damages Kuwait expects from Iraq. Baghdad has agreed to pay $300 million of the damages in cash. (more…)

BAGHDAD, April 6 (AKnews)- United Nation’s Special Representative to Iraq Martin Kobler will release a report about the human rights violations in Iraq after Iraqiya List informed him about such violations, said an Iraqiya official.
A delegation from Iraqiya, led by Ayad Allawi, met with Kobler in Amman yesterday and discussed the reality of the human rights situation with him for two hours, said Hadi al-Dhalemi, the spokesperson for National Accord Front (a rank in Iraqiya alliance.) (more…)
