GOI: Initial agreement between Iraq and Kuwait on the exit from Chapter VII

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network – The Iraqi government confirmed it had agreed in principle with Kuwait factors to achieve the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII confirmed the presence of the Kuwaiti side to understand the need for the withdrawal of Iraq from Chapter VII

Kuwait Radio receives part of its archives from Iraq – Tapes include large group of original programs

KUWAIT: Kuwait Radio has finally regained 27 boxes of its archival tapes from Iraq, the country’s Ministry of Information said. Kuwait’s radio archives were stolen by Saddam Hussein’s regime during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. (more…)

CBI wants Iraqis to drop the dollar in internal commercial transactions

The Central Bank has decided to remove three zeros from the dinar, a move it sees essential to strengthen local currency and tempt Iraqis to stick to it.

For months, the bank has been mulling the issue but only recently it said a decision has been made and it was a matter of time to translate it into action.

Iraq Department of Commerce requests the support of the US side to aid in Iraq’s accession to the WTO

Baghdad (News) … Trade Ministry has asked the US side to support and facilitate the accession of Iraq to the World Trade Organization, noting that his organization membership reimbursements on the Iraqi economy.

Trade Minister Khairallah Hassan Babiker said in a statement received (News Agency news) on Saturday: we asked for support from the US side to help Iraq to enter the World Trade Organization as it returns to the Iraqi economy as well as its call for the participation of American companies active in the sessions of the Baghdad international fair. CBI: There is no law or legislator has so far prevented the flow of the Iraqi capital abroad

Confirmed that the Central Bank of Iraq Investment Law allowed the introduction of Heads investors their money to support Iraq’s economy, while there is no law legislator has so far prevented the flow of capital out of Iraq, noting that it is one of the grossest errors, the right of the national economy of the country.
