Confirmed: that the adoption of this Treaty is necessary because it will reduce illegal operations in dealing with domestic and foreign currencies both inside and outside Iraq and fight money laundering operations taking place in the country, pointing out that it helps to monitor how the disbursement of funds for inside or outside the country.

Said: that the draft law on international treaty to combat money laundering was its first reading in the House of representatives and in the hope that are discussing at second reading during the month of Ramadan and the vote will be after Fitr
