A member of the Economic Commission MP / National Alliance / Salman al-Moussawi, said the project to replace the currency after you delete the zeros of which does not help to support the national economy, but the project’s success depends on the strength of the economy and the stability of the local market.

Iraqi Central Bank said: “The sale of the dollar to banks aimed at withdrawal of liquidity from the market as is the case in the majority of the world’s central banks.”

The bank said in a statement today: “The majority of markets where the price of an official and the price of a parallel, and the bank seeks to minimize the difference between the two rates through the inspection teams, to comply with the instructions of the central Bank, which sells the dollar to all government and private banks and branches of foreign banks and not for the banks, civil only. ” (more…)

Baghdad said the UN Special Representative in Iraq Monday that the Iraqi Parliament passed a law on oil and gas exploration is one of the priorities of the international organization which formed a team to follow up on this file.

The Act is designed to regulate the oil sector in Iraq and establish rules for revenue sharing between the Central Government and the provinces still include Parliament years ago. The Special Representative said Martin Kobler told AFP that “a team from the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq working on this file.” (more…)

Member of the Committee criticized the Economy and Investment Abdul-Hussein al-Husseini Resan government not to take any actions to address the problem of unilateral economy in the country, which depends entirely on oil imports.
