MP for the coalition of state law, Abdul Salam al-Maliki said the names of security ministers will come to the House of Representatives after the Eid al-Fitr.
Maliki said, according to a statement received by all of Iraq [where] NSH than it is today, “The names of ministers and security chiefs to fill the interior and defense ministries will come to Parliament after the holiday as part of the reform plan adopted by the National Alliance to overcome the current political crisis.”
“The move will represent an important anchor to bring the political blocs and to achieve consensus sought by the National Alliance for consolidation among the most important principles of political reform paper which is opening the doors of the solutions included in the paper of political reform.”
He continued , “This move to send the names is a testament to the seriousness of the National Alliance and the government in achieving comprehensive reform of all aspects of the political process,” stressing that “the document of reform will be a code of conduct for all committed to it and blocs of political initiative for cooperation with the National Alliance for the success of this Charter.”
Iraq is gripped by a political crisis that lasted for several months due to the escalation of disputes between the political blocs on matters concerning the partnership in the state administration as well as other files, has resulted in the continuation of the crisis to the request of some political blocs which [the Kurdistan Alliance, Iraqi National List, the Sadrist movement] to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, after several meetings were held in each of the governorates of Erbil, Najaf, which led to an asylum of the National Alliance for the preparation of a paper presented to the reforms of the blocks.
