Baghdad (News) …As the u.s. Embassy in Iraq visit, Chairman of the joint chiefs General Martin Dempsey to Baghdad in support of development as a strategic partner and leader in the region.
Embassy said in a statement today: the visit of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff Gen. Dempsey comes as part of efforts by the United States within the strategic framework agreement to support the continuity of development in Iraq as a strategic partner contributes to peace and security as a commander in the region.
The Embassy said: the meeting discussed Dempsey Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and other Iraqi officials on regional and security issues, including the situation in Syria
