The possibility Obama’s visit to Iraq .. a telephone conversation between Clinton and Zebari to coordinate the visit

A statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry issued Thursday: Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received on Wednesday a phone call from Hillary Clinton and U.S. Secretary of State in search through a number of bilateral issues between the two countries, particularly visits and meetings to come, and the upcoming visit of the delegation of senior U.S. to Baghdad. MP from the Kurdistan Alliance, Mahmoud Othman, Iraqi political forces opposing among themselves to sit at the table of dialogue in order to resolve the current political crisis in the country and has been ongoing for months.

The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim renewed from time to time his emphasis on the importance of adopting the principle of dialogue between Iraqi political parties and approval of the required reforms, and always claim to “calm by everyone and not to be drawn to the aggravation. ” (more…)

Source: waiting for the arrival of a U.S. delegation to discuss Iraq is excluded from sanctions on Iran

An official source at the Ministry of Trade that a U.S. delegation will arrive in Iraq to resume talks on trade between Iraq and Iran and the exclusion of international sanctions.

Said the source, who asked not to be named, said that “Iraq told the American side needs to be excluded from the system of international sanctions imposed on Iran, especially in terms of electricity contracts and oil derivatives.” (more…)

Central Bank calls for Iraq is excluded from sanctions on Iran

CBI said that Iraq does not have any interest in violation of international sanctions imposed on Iran, calling for Iraq is excluded from these sanctions in accordance with the UN Charter on the grounds of his dealings with Iran are purely civilian. (more…)
