Erbil, September 9 / September (Rn) – The local Iranian currency, Sunday, the lowest value in its history against the U.S. dollar, when the price per dollar of more than 2,400 Iranian Toman, according to the agency “Mehr” Iranian.
The IEA noted “low the Iranian Altoman value against the U.S. dollar to a record is the worst in the history of the Islamic republic currency, where the price of one dollar per thousand and 430 Iranian Toman at a time when the dollar while the Iranian currency yesterday Alvin and 300 tomans.”
The agency added that “the value Altoman Iranian against the European currency euro stood at day 3 thousand and 100 Toman, while the pound British front Altoman 3 thousand and 750 Toman, while the price of the dollar against the Altoman since three days ago 238 Toman and euro 350 Toman and British Pound 220 Toman” .
The Iranian currency has lost much of its value after harsh economic sanctions imposed by the United States and European countries on the regime in Tehran, because of the latter’s nuclear activities, Economists expect that the price of one U.S. dollar to 3 thousand Iranian Toman soon.
