Some Iraqi economists are less than thrilled with the idea of a new currency being introduced during 2013, but if the financial committee in Iraq’s Parliament has its way not only will there be new bank notes, but coins will once more be seen in circulation.

Received Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Wednesday, an official invitation from his Lebanese counterpart Najib Mikati to visit Beirut, Maliki called Mikati to visit Baghdad to discuss the development of relations between the two countries.

Departing for Iraq to the United States Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to Tros Iraq’s delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations, to be held next week in New York.
