KUWAIT, Sept 29 (KUNA) Representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak AlHamad AlSabah, along with his accompanying delegation, returned home on Saturday after heading Kuwait delegation to the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly
Upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport, HH the Prime Minister pointed out, in a press statement, importance of Kuwait’s participation in the UN General Assembly’s meetings to affirm Kuwait’s stance toward various international issues
Also, he noted that Kuwait has delivered to the General Assembly the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah about importance of stopping the bloodshed in Syria and finding
a resolution that would attain security, stability, and democratic life for Syrian people
In addition, HH the Prime Minister praised outcomes of the meetings he conducted with several of world leaders on the sideline of the General Assembly meetings, indicating that they were aimed at attaining
Kuwait’s interest and improving its relations with various countries around the world
HH the Prime Minister was received at the airport by First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh
Ahmad AlHomoud AlJaber AlSabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Al
Khaled AlSabah, and number of ministers, governors, senior officials at HH the Prime Minister Diwan, as well as senior leaders of police, army, and national guards.
