He served Flip Gordon, since May 2009, as Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in charge of European Affairs, Asian, where he was responsible for coordinating U.S. policy with 50 European countries and Asian, as well as with member countries NATO Atlantic, the European Union and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
