Iraqi parliament’s session lifted till 19th of March

Washington requests assurances from Iraq to stop the use of its airspace and territory to support Assad

Asked the U.S. administration of Iraq yesterday guarantees to stop the use of airspace and territory in the transfer of weapons to support President Bashar al-Assad, during talks between Deputy U.S. Secretary of State William Burns and Iraqi National Security Adviser Faleh al-Fayad, who was accompanied by a delegation of leaders of the Dawa Party, which is headed Nuri al-Maliki.
