Sources in the Iraqi Council of Representatives that the legislature will begin the holiday to coincide with the Arab summit in Baghdad at the end of this month.
The sources said in an interview (the citizen) that “the legislative recess for the House of Representatives will begin on the twentieth of March, the current and last for 40 days.”

KUWAIT: A Member of the Al-Iraqiya Coalition headed by former Iraqi PM Eyad Allawi, MP Hasan Al-Jabbour said yesterday that Iraq has “become a sitting duck for regional countries because of its divisions and disagreements within political blocs.” He added that Iraqi political blocs and their leaders had never agreed on any views or ideas since the government was formed.

Furthermore, Al-Jabbour urged both the Iraqi government and political blocs to file a complaint with the UN to put an end to Kuwait’s violations.
Cairo, April 18 Zkralamin-General of the Arab League on Monday, that the Arab summit will be postponed in light of the consultations carried out with the Arab foreign ministers held an emergency meeting for postponement of the Arab summit which was scheduled to be held in Baghdad on 11 and 12 of the next month .
Said Amr Moussa, secretary general of the Arab League in a press statement in the presence of a reporter and news agency Kurdistan announced today that it was “presently conducting consultations with the Arab States to convene a meeting of Arab foreign ministers to agree to address the issue of the Arab summit which was scheduled to be held on 11 next in the capital Baghdad. “
