Baghdad, 13 March / March (Rn) – The Iraqi Ministry of Planning, on Tuesday, it will issue about 5 million and a national card and a factory special ration card after it decided to start implementation of the project runs its first national card worth $ 260 million.

Said Minister of Planning Ali Shukri on the sidelines of the opening of electronic queries in the ministry, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), “The initial phase includes the establishment of a special factory for the ration card and contract to issue 5 million national card during the year 2012.” (more…)

Baghdad, March 8 / March (Rn) – The Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation of Iraq, Thursday to postpone the launch of the budget in 2012 until the end of which the outstanding problems between the Council of Ministers and House of Representatives.

The Minister of Planning Ali Shukri, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the budget in 2012 that was planned for launch at the beginning of the month of March being postponed until the end of the outstanding problems upon between the Minister and the House of Representatives.” (more…)

BAGHDAD (Iba) … Ministry of Finance announced a number of the end of the 2012 budget in line with the agreement with the International Monetary Fund and the amounts necessary for lifting the value of its investment.

The Deputy Minister Fadel prophet in a press statement that the Ministry of Finance has worked to raise money value compared to the value of investment funds within the budget value of Lot 2012. (more…)

KUWAIT, Oct 4 (KUNA) — 1963 — Iraq recognizes Kuwait’s independence, sovereignty and borders as outlined in a letter by the Iraqi Prime Minister on July 21, 1932, which was accepted by Kuwait’s ruler Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber on August 10, 1932. Ambassadors were then exchanged. The agreement was registered by Kuwait at the Arab League and the United Nations.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq’s new Council of Ministers has held its first meeting on Wednesday, concentrated to present Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki and members of his new cabinet, Member of the National Coalition, Mohammed Seyhoud al-Saadoun said.

“Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has chaired the first meeting of his new cabinet on Wednesday afternoon, in which Maliki introduced his cabinet ministers, to get acquainted among each other,” Saadoun added.

He said that “handing over of the ministries by the former ministers to the new ministers did not take place in the meeting, but to pass over each ministry in its own building, according to procedures agreed upon among the ministers.”

Harb’s statement to Aswat al-Iraq news agency has come at a time when the Parliamentary blocs are preoccupied with the nomination of their candidates to fill the remaining posts in the new cabinet, following Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s decision to occupy the posts of Interior, Defense and National Security Ministers posts on “acting” basis temporarily , whist assigning the remaining cabinet posts for other ministers, also on “acting” basis, pending the naming of their original ministers.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq’s Prime Minister Designate, Nouri al-Maliki, is scheduled to attend the Parliament’s session on Tuesday afternoon local time, to discuss his new cabinet’s formation, Legislature of al-Fadhila (Vertue) Party, Kamila al-Mousawi, said, expecting that the voting on the cabinet might be postponed for another date.
