Cairo, February 9 (Rn) – The Iraqi Minister of Trade and the Ministers of Economy and Finance stressed the Arabs at the end of their meeting in Cairo on Thursday to intensify efforts for the good preparation for the session of the 23 for the Arab summit scheduled in Iraq in March next year.
Khairallah said Babiker, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) at the end of the meeting, the ministers discussed the Arabs to intensify efforts for the success of the Baghdad summit.

CAIRO, Jan. 22 (AKnews) – Undersecretary of the Arab League Ahmed Bin Hilli is on way to Iraq at the head of a high level delegation to make sure preparations for the next summit to be held in Baghdad in March are in place.
Iraq’s representative to the Arab League Qais al-Azzawi told AKnews that Bin Hilli will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, Foreign Minister Hushyar Zebri and a number of top officials in the country to discuss the procedures and final preparations ahead of the League’s next summit that’s expected to be held in Baghdad in March.
The Arab League summit which was originally scheduled to take place last year has been postponed several times as a wave of protests swept across the Arab countries in the region.

Cairo, October 25 / October (Rn) – The representative of Iraq to the Arab League on Tuesday that an Arab summit in Baghdad will be held on schedule in March / March, stressing that the summit will again be delayed for any reason.
It was scheduled to hold an Arab summit in Baghdad in May / May, but that the Arab League announced a delay to March / March of next year 2012, to be held in the Iraqi capital.
A statement issued by the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, that the decision to postpone the Arab Summit next year, was “based on a formal request from the Republic of Iraq, that Iraq retains the right to host the Arab summit on the said date.”
