The Council is also expecting the second report of the Secretary-General, pursuant to paragraph 6 of resolution 1956, on the post-Development Fund for Iraq (DFI) mechanism. At press time it was not clear if the Council would consider the report in June. The mandate of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) expires on 28 July. |

Announced that the Iraqi embassy in Kuwait, Tuesday, for delivery of some private property archive newspaper Kuwait News and articles belonging to the Central Bank of Kuwait to the Kuwaiti side, and showed that it comes in implementation of the obligations of Iraq by resolution 833 international and item on the delivery of Kuwaiti property stolen during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
He said Iraq’s ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Hussein Bahr al-Ulum said in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “the Iraqi embassy delivered a week ago, some private property archive newspaper Kuwait News from tapes Micro did not,” noting that “these materials have been found in some Iraqi ministries” . The Kuwaiti dinar (KD) exchange rate increased against the US dollar to 0.275 Kuwaiti dinar, and decreased against the euro to KD 0.375, the state’s official monetary body, the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), said on Sunday.The KD stabilized against the Sterling pound at KD 0.437, and kept to KD 0.003 per Japanese yen, whereas it went down at KD 0.311 per Swiss franc, the daily CBK bulletin said.

Gulf banks have shown in the aggregate during the financial crisis on the ability to absorb shocks and to incur less damage compared to Western banks, as a result of the subject since 2005, efforts to check its position in the event of a financial disaster. With the publication of standards «Basel 3» two years after the start of the financial crisis, said Saudi central bank that the Saudi banks were directed towards achieving strong growth in activity during 2011, and has sufficient liquidity to enable them to cope with any potential obstacles, which helps banks also activate the wheel of lending in 2011 .
