The newspaper “The Washington Times” The increase in US oil production in Iraq could determine the future of world oil prices in the coming years, especially after the Iraq increased the size of its production last year to reach in December to 3.4 million barrels per day .

The paper said the US that Iraq may be the only country in the world which still contains large amounts of crude oil, which does not require expensive equipment to extract as it close to the occupation of the first rank as the largest oil exporter in the world . (more…)

International Energy Agency: Iraq’s oil production rose by 12% in 2011

Said the International Energy Agency in its report that oil production in Iraq rose by 12% in 2011, while warning that the political instability inside Iraq in the development of operational and logistical constraints on the oil sector.

A report by the International Energy Agency obtained by “Twilight News”, that “Iraq’s oil production rose by 12% in 2011 compared to the previous year but this increase was not reflected in exports due to poor infrastructure.” (more…)

Ministry of Oil announces crude oil exports for the month of September 2011

The Oil Ministry announced that the total crude oil exports for the month of September 2011 Was last (63.1) Sixty-three million one hundred thousand barrels, and that the amounts realized from the sale was estimated at (6.619) six billion, six hundred and nineteen million dollars.

He said the ministry spokesman Assem Jihad: That the exported quantities of crude oil to last Shahrailol Tksmt between the Basra oil exports, which total (53.0) Fifty-three Million barrels and that the value of the amounts realized from the sale was estimated at (5.529) is five Billion And five hundred and twenty-nine Million.

Finance Committee: Four billions of dollars of savings for the oil infrastructure projects

Baghdad (news) .. the parliamentary financial committee announced spending of about $ 4 billion of oil savings achieved since the beginning of this year on infrastructure projects in the country.

That Iraq has suffered from the lack of infrastructure and lack of services in the budget amounted to (81) billion dollars, and may increase next year.

The oil ministry reveal the total oil exports for the month of March

Oil Ministry said that the total crude oil exports for the month of March last year hit 66 million and 900 thousand barrels and that the proceeds of such exports, estimated at seven billion and 167 thousand dollars.

A statement of the Ministry of Oil that Basra’s oil exports during the month of March, amounted to 52 million and 300 thousand barrels, while the Kirkuk oil exports 14 million and 600 thousand barrels. The statement pointed out that the average selling price hit 107 dollars and 13 cents per barrel.

Has been loaded those quantities by international oil companies from the ports of Basra and Khor al-Amaya on the Persian Gulf and Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea and delivery trucks to Jordan.

The Ministry of Oil in Baghdad, Thursday, that the total crude oil exports for the month of March, amounted to 66 million nine hundred thousand barrels, while noting that the amounts realized from the sale estimated at seven billion, one hundred and sixty-seven million dollars.

Iraq seeks to raise the capacity to export oil by 5% end of the year

Kurdistan resume exporting crude to overseas
