U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the U.S. commitment to the democratic future of Iraq remains strong despite the withdrawal of American troops by the end of the year.

“Even as our troops come home, the United States’ commitment to Iraq’s future as a secure, stable, democratic nation remains as strong as ever,” she said at a news conference in the Tajik capital. “This will end the war and it will open a new chapter in our relationship,” Clinton said Saturday

NEW YORK: The United States must stand up to China to prevent Beijing from taking unfair advantage in trade through its currency policy, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said today.

“They continue to try to game the system to their advantage and our disadvantage,” Clinton said after a speech to The Economic Club of New York.

“I think it’s appropriate and fitting and timely for us to be standing up and saying, ‘This is not acceptable.’”

Written and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in her article, “The future of U.S. policy will be determined in the Asia-Pacific and not in Afghanistan and Iraq.”

Clinton said in the article which was published in the journal “Foreign Policy in the U.S.” to the number in November under the title (the era of America in the Pacific), “The end of the war in Iraq, and start the U.S. withdraw its troops from Afghanistan, the United States stands at a pivotal point” .
