A member of the parliamentary Finance Committee, Najiba Najib called the (Shora Council) to speed sending the new banking law in order to pass it in the House of Representatives.

MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the new law of the banks and the CBI supports the independence of the bank and devotes separate administration for the capital of all government and private banks, noting that the law will also allow the banks to direct investment and to engage in other commercial activities after that was forbidden. The Finance Ministry on Saturday announced the launch of Exchange federal budget allocations to ministries and provinces.

The Finance Minister said the Agency in a statement, Al-Shukri received both in Iraq “have been released without the public budget of the ministries and provinces”, adding that “the Exchange will begin as of today.” (more…)

The MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Muhsin al-Sadoun declared postponement the vote on the federal budget for 2013.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the vote on the federal budget is not in the agenda for today’s session of parliament because of some amendments to some of its items.
