Baghdad (AIN) -The Parliament will hold its regular session on next Saturday to read and vote on a number of law drafts including the Federal Court and the federal budget of 2013.

Parliamentary source told AIN on Thursday “The agenda of next session involves the vote on Federal Court law, and 2013 federal budget draft as well as the first reading for the Ministry of Health’s proposal.” (more…)

And over (40) I read the second reading of a law, and (80) in advance of the proposed law on the various government institutions and the legislature.

Attributed the MP for the coalition of state law Jawad Albzona Presidency of the Council of Representatives to postpone the vote on the Federal Court Act to the differences of the political blocs on some paragraphs of this law.

The Albzona told all of Iraq [where] “The political blocs can not agree on the law of the Federal Court because of disagreements on some of its paragraphs, which called for the presidency of the Council of Representatives voted to postpone further notice.”

He added: “This postponement will give the political blocs have the opportunity to settle their differences on this law, especially as we are on the verge of the holiday legislative those blocks will be given enough time to finish their differences on this law.”

Federal necessitate that central bank independence and the Electoral Commission

BAGHDAD (Reuters): said the Federal Court is the Supreme Court of Iraq to clarify sent him to parliament, said the ruling issued in January, which put the central bank and the Office of the elections under the supervision of the government will not affect their independence. Legal: members of the Federal Court has become the 11

(Voice of Iraq) – BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: the legal expert Tareq Harb, Saturday, that the number of members of the Federal Court has become the new 11 instead of nine, including seven judges and two experts in Islamic jurisprudence as well as two of the jurists.

The war told (Voices of Iraq) that “the law of the court to add the new two experts in Islamic jurisprudence, and two of jurisprudence, as well as the seven judges, and became number eleven instead of nine.”

The Supreme Judicial Council said Wednesday that the Federal Court decisions about the correlation of independent bodies and not the Cabinet’s Council of Representatives is “the decisions of the window.”

The judge, Abdul Sattar Bayraktar spokesman for the Supreme Judicial Council, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the interpretations issued by the Federal Court, including the latter interpretation on the link independent bodies of the Cabinet and not the parliament is enforceable decisions and not subject to appeal or cancellation.”

240 Iraqi lawyer demanded in a press statement to cancel the Federal Court decision on independent organizations, without any limitation or condition, and to initiate an investigation and demanded a parliamentary debate on the reasons for the issuance of such provisions by the Federal Court and political influence in the judiciary.

UN logoBaghdad, (AKnews) – The Electoral Commission of the Iraqi elections said on Sunday that the United Nations Mission in Iraq discussed with it the decision of the Federal Court to link all the independent government boards with the government instead of the parliament.

A member of the Commissioners Board in the Office, Saad al-Rawi, told AKnews that the United Nations envoy in Iraq Ed Meleckert briefed on the opinion of the Electoral Commission over the decision of the Federal Court to link all the independent boards with the council of ministers.
