Baghdad, December 9 (Rn) – The General Authority for the stock market of Iraq, Friday, House of Representatives to speed up the legislation of a law regulating its work with companies and investors, saying that the law developed by the U.S. ruling the interim after the military operations in Iraq, Paul Bremer, not at the level required and the many loopholes.

CBI: Iraqi economy will not develop unless the activities are expanded tax

Baghdad, August 7 / August (Rn) – Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Iraq on Sunday that address the economic problems require the expansion of activities in the country and tax reforms in a wide range of administrative transactions of the General Authority for taxes of the Ministry of Finance.

The appearance of Mohammed Saleh told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the Central Bank classifies the tax system in Iraq as a late and does not contribute in supporting the action the central bank to support the value of cash and banking transactions in the country.”

He added that “the Ministry of Finance for tax measures to expand and upgrade their value while reducing the administrative and bureaucratic procedures that contribute to hamper the development of the Iraqi economy.”

Finance announces postponement of the new mechanism of action statement customs

Both the Ministry of Finance and the General Customs Authority, to postpone action mechanism of the new customs statement until the fifteenth of July of this, while retaining the rates of withholding tax on fees for the reconstruction of Iraq’s five-percent of the value of the goods.
