Zibari, Kuwaiti Ambassador discuss positive progress in bilateral relations

Baghdad (AIN) -The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zibari discussed with the Ambassador of Kuwait for Iraq, Ali Mohamed al-Mu’min, the constructive progress that was achieved through the mutual cooperation between both countries.

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} stressed Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari on the importance of the role of the United Nations to remove Iraq from the remaining provisions of Chapter VII.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the agency {Euphrates News} copy of it on Monday that “Zebari received today representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and discussed with him the latest political developments in the country, and the role of the UN Mission in the provincial elections that took place recently.” (more…)

Ministry of Transport announced Iraq, on Wednesday, for the arrival of the first Iraqi aircraft to Kuwait after a hiatus of more than 22 years.
An advisor to the Minister of Transport Karim Nouri’s “obelisk”, “The flight between Iraq and Kuwait resumed and reached the first Iraqi aircraft took off from Baghdad International Airport bound for Kuwait at eleven o’clock in the morning.” (more…)

Baghdad/ NINA /–The European Parliament ratified in its plenary meeting which held in Strasbourg on the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the Government of Iraq and the European Union.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry said : ” Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari had signed in Brussels with High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union Catherine Ashton on the agreement in the eleventh of last May.”

Revealed the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives near the exit of Iraq from the provisions of Chapter VII, stressing that there are four remaining files are being settled with the Kuwaiti side, which in turn stressed its support for ridding Iraq of international sanctions, believing it to be certain.
