BAGHDAD / obelisk: The United Nations called on Saturday, the political parties in Iraq to a national dialogue for the unity of the country, expressed regret over the deaths in Fallujah demonstrations.

BAGHDAD, Feb.10 (AKnews)- Funding the Sahwa Councils’ members from the national budget is “legal” due to the “significant” role the Councils played in securing the country, an official said today.

Declared the former civilian governor in Iraq, Paul Bremer, announced yesterday that the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq a “mistake”, and will lead to the division of Iraq into three mini-states and the outbreak of regional war in the region.

Najaf, 8 December / December (Rn) – A spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Defense on Thursday that 7,500 U.S. last remaining troops and withdraw during the next few days.

And U.S. troops ended combat missions in the last year and began to withdraw its troops from Iraq, according to the Convention on the withdrawal of forces agreement signed between Washington and Baghdad in 2008.

As the countdown to the withdrawal of the last U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of this year escalated armed attacks against Iraqi security personnel.

Mohammed al-Askari told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), “the rest of the 7,500-strong U.S. forces. They will walk through the next few days.” (more…)

Announced that the Kurdistan Alliance bloc, Sunday, that the Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided to host Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki after his return from Japan to discuss the readiness of Iraqi security forces after the U.S. withdrawal.

A spokesman for the Kurdistan Alliance bloc supporter of good in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “House of Representatives approved a proposal by President Osama Najafi to host the Prime Minister, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Nouri al-Maliki and security chiefs after his return from Japan.”

Suggested an MP for the Kurdistan Alliance Najiba Najib said the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the United States in the twelfth of next month is to discuss a number of files, notably the Convention for the purchase of weapons.

The Ministry of Defense of Iraq, Sunday, the readiness of security forces to protect the country after the American withdrawal end of the year, noting that the withdrawal of these forces will give full freedom to the Iraqi forces to extend control over all parts of Iraq, while they believed that the political situation is “confused.”

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Independent MP Hassan al-Alawi said that Premier Nouri al-Maliki is carrying “semi-insoluble dossiers” during his visit to Washington, pointing that the visit comes in its “right trend before US forces withdrawal from Iraq”.

Al-Alawi pointed out to Aswat al-Iraq that “there are pending dossiers, such as the present political crisis, the security situation following the withdrawal, immunity to trainers, latest developments on regions’ questions”, but he added that “the visit should come out with something new”. (more…)

BAGHDAD – Babinaoz: the U.S. military announced its intention to complete its withdrawal from Iraq by the end of this year, urged the member of the parliamentary Defense and Security to review and evaluate the security plans, and a second deputy said there were plans for a new stage after the withdrawal.

A spokesman for U.S. forces in Iraq, Gen. Baghdad, Nov. 4 (AKnews)- United States Vice President Joe Biden will arrive in Baghdad Saturday at a surprise visit, a source said today.

The informed source who demanded anonymity told AKnews Biden will arrive in Baghdad tomorrow evening for a one-day visit to discuss a number of common issues.

The visit is taking place after the U.S. President Barak Obama announced on Oct. 21, 2011 that the U.S. forces will completely withdraw from Iraq in accordance with the 2008 State of Forces Agreement (SOFA). (more…)

Iraq’s counterterrorism forces will lose critical intelligence and other specialized capabilities when American forces withdraw at the end of the year.

Some military analysts worry the withdrawal could jeopardize the success these forces have had in weakening al-Qaeda’s leadership in Iraq with daily raids on terrorist leaders.

“I believe there will be very direct and significant impact on our ability to conduct counterterrorism operations,” said Fred Kagan, an influential military analyst who helped formulate the successful “surge” strategy in Iraq in 2007, which involved sending in more U.S. troops to pacify the country.

Erbil, October 30 / October (Rn) – The Chief of Staff of the Iraqi army, said on Sunday that Iraq needs several years to build and train his forces defenses to protect its territory, pointing out that Iraq will not be ready to protect the airspace by the year 2020, according to the website “Arutz Hevh “Israeli.

The Web site published U.S. report addressing the reconstruction of Iraq, which included remarks by Babiker Zebari, said that “Iraq needs several years to build and train the forces of defense and do without foreign aid to protect its territory and airspace,” adding that “Iraq will not be ready to protect the airspace before 2020. “

Many Iraqis fear a post-American withdrawal, especially with signs of an unstable security situation in this country that Taatnahpha different problems. Analysts say that Iraqi oil could be the only guarantor of stability in Iraq in spite of how many problems facing the country, and also despite the underdevelopment of the oil industry.

US forces withdrew elements to Kuwait

THI QAR / Aswat al-Iraq: US forces in Thi Qar province announced participating in the withdrawal process by transporting 700 soldiers and 100 military equipment to Kuwait , according to military spokesman.

Major Harold Huff told Aswat al-Iraq that “we are fully confident with the ability of Iraqi forces to control security and we will continue enhancing our partnership”.

Baghdad, Omar Abdel-Latif: Provided for security and defense committee in the Iraqi parliament to the government the names of the six countries to benefit from them in the import of weapons for the armed forces.
