The White House announced in Washington that U.S. Vice President Joe Biden met this afternoon Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani, and discussed with him in various important issues that concern Iraq and the Middle East.

He said a brief statement that the Vice President of the Republic thanked the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for his participation in this week’s meeting, which convened in Washington for the US-Iraqi joint coordination of energy.
